Beggars Description are an exciting new barn dance & ceilidh band based in Exeter, Devon.

We mostly play English country dance tunes but our repertoire also includes tunes from Ireland, Scotland, France, America and even Sweden!

Oboe and fiddle weave their magic over a driving melodeon, all underpinned by the solid brass of the valve trombone. The result is an extremely danceable sound that is guaranteed to get you on your feet!

If you are new to folk dancing then don't worry because our expert caller will lead you through the dances and explain everything.
